Just this morning, we opened CallSpy for free for 48 hours—a small gift to our community to celebrate a big milestone. You’ve supported us, believed in our mission, and helped us grow. This was our way of saying thank you.
But something happened that none of us wanted.
🚨 A Malicious Attack on Our System
Within hours of launching the free window, a single user attempted to abuse the platform by flooding it with over 10,00,000 automated queries, targeting random phone numbers.
This wasn’t normal use. It was a clear and deliberate effort to:
Exploit our system
Waste resources
Disrupt service for thousands of genuine users

Thanks to our monitoring systems, we could quickly trace the origin of this abuse.
We now have full details of the malicious actor, including:
Their full name
Residential and company address
The organisation they are associated with
And even the team members who may have been involved or aware of the act
We are preparing to take serious legal and organisational action against this individual. This behaviour is unethical and harmful to the entire community, and we will not tolerate it.
